《丝绸之路经济带发展报告（2014）》是自习总书记提出共建丝绸之路经济带以来国内有关丝绸之路经济带建设的第一本蓝皮书，由陕西省社会科学院倾力推出。本书会集了陕西和其他西北省份权威专家学者有关丝绸之路研究的最新原创性成果，全面展示了丝绸之路经济带沿线主要省份的发展定位和建设现状，分析了丝绸之路经济带建设的未来发展趋势，提供了学术界关于丝绸之路经济带建设的深入思考。全书具有原创性、学术性、前瞻性和资料性，是有关部门和学术研究的重要参考，是国内外深入了解丝绸之路经济带发展状况的最新指南。

　　皮书包括四部分内容：第一部分总报告，站在全局视角，针对丝绸之路经济带“五通”，较为全面地反映了丝绸之路经济带国内段的发展现状及进展，预测了未来丝绸之路经济带的发展趋势。第二部分综合篇，以丝绸之路经济带西北各省区为切入点，由各区域学者分别对陕西、甘肃、宁夏、新疆、青海等省区在参与丝绸之路经济带建设中的战略构想、推进状况、重点问题进行深入剖析和研究，提出了对策建议。第三部分经济篇，主要围绕丝绸之路经济带“贸易畅通”和“货币流通”，针对丝绸之路经济带建设中的贸易投资、产业发展合作、货币流通、金融开放、物流运输、城市群发展、能源合作等经济发展问题，会集了大量学者的专题性研究成果。第四部分社会文化篇，以民心相通为主题，围绕丝绸之路经济带文化认同、文化传播、文化精神、文化交流等问题推出了系列研究成果，展示了部分文化学者关于增进丝绸之路经济带民心相通的若干思考。
